Shannon Miller, a fifth-generation Colorado native, has deep roots in Boulder County but has traversed various parts of the state throughout her life. At the tender age of 14, Shannon embarked on her office career, swiftly acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the business management industry.

Upon completing high school, Shannon pursued her education at Colorado Mountain College while concurrently serving as a Senior Teller at a bank in Aspen. Later, she relocated to Grand Junction, CO, where she completed her studies at Colorado Mesa University.

Having obtained a BBA degree with a minor in Psychology from Colorado Mesa University, Shannon embarked on her post-college journey as an advertising assistant at the Grand Junction Free Press, lending her expertise to advertising designs. Eager for new horizons, Shannon made the move to Denver in 2005, amassing extensive experience in human resources, business management, accounting, and digital marketing between 2005 and 2018. Notably, Shannon obtained her PHR certification in 2016.

In 2018, Shannon's life took an unexpected turn when she was presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relocate to Costa Rica. Departing her beloved Colorado, and even the United States, was something she hadn't envisioned. Nevertheless, Shannon adapted to her new surroundings and began working remotely, undertaking a variety of tasks. It was during this period that Riptide Resources was born.

Following an enriching three-year adventure in Costa Rica, Shannon made the decision to return to her Colorado roots. Recognizing the power and potential of virtual and remote work, she established a company that operates entirely in this flexible and dynamic manner. By offering businesses the vital support they require, Shannon's company empowers them to flourish and prosper in their endeavors.
